
Job description
The Software Developer has a solid knowledge and expertise in software applications development and architecture definition to build complex and high-quality solutions based on HEXAGON standard applications. He/She will analyse, design, develop, test and support high level software applications for mission critical environments in the industries we serve.
He/She must also tackle all the questions, issues and problems that may happen on our operational environment. Able to manage a lot of different technologies, he/she must be able to integrate existing core solution in future developments.
Of a curious nature, he/she must be able to learn by himself/herself. He/She will be able to speak the professional language and understand the needs of the emergency world.

Job Responsibilities
Architect, design and implement robust, scalable, secure and efficient products and/or features which meet the functional requirements
Create and maintain technical design documents and documentation
Develop mission critical software solutions
Provide support for locally developed applications
Conduct peer code reviews
Coordinate your work with other teams
Test and debug developed functionality
Maintenance of existing software by monitoring and correcting software defects, and by analyzing and identifying areas requiring modification
Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications and development platforms
Contribute to effort estimations
Job requirements
University degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science or minimum 5 years of experience in software development is mandatory
Knowledge and administration of Operating System (Windows Server and Desktop) is mandatory
Knowledge of C#, ASP.Net, RestAPI is mandatory
Knowledge of C++, WPF/XAML, WCF, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript is a plus
Knowledge of database MS SQL Server 2012 or higher and/or Oracle 12c or higher is mandatory
Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages is mandatory
Experience in Scripting Languages (Perl, Python, Tcl/Tk, Windows PowerShell) is a plus
Initiative and dynamic attitude, team player
Able to plan and carry out by his/her own multiple work assignments while respecting deadlines
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills
Stress resistance is mandatory
Languages skills: French and/or Dutch and English are mandatory
Knowledge of the emergency world (Police, Fire Brigade, Civilian Protection…) is a plus
Knowledge of Computer Aided Dispatch, GIS, Radio, and/or Telephony software experience is a plus
Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus
