Every second counts in the operations control centers of police and rescue organizations. Hexagon's command and control systems support dispatchers in providing assistance to emergency callers as quickly and effectively as possible

As a (Junior) Application Engineer Public Safety you are responsible for the following tasks:

• You are part of our team that ensures the operation of customer systems, provides technical support and further development.
• You support customers with customer-oriented 1st and 2nd level support.
• You coordinate customer inquiries with our partners.
• You configure and develop the operations control systems according to customer requirements.
• You provide software components automatically: development, implementation and maintenance are carried out via CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• You work according to our agile framework and adapt flexibly to requirements and changes.

To work for us as a (Junior) Application Engineer Public Safety, you should have the following qualifications:

• You have completed training in the field of IT (e.g. computer scientist HF or equivalent)
• You have a keen interest in IT, current technologies and a basic understanding of developments, networks and server operating systems
• You are familiar with web technologies (including React) and can apply them.
• You have knowledge of working with databases (SQL server)
• You speak German and English, ideally also French or Italian.
• You like customer contact and generally enjoy working with people.
• You can communicate technical topics in an understandable way.
